WinPulse Media Privacy Policy
WinPulse Media LLC ("we", "us") operates winpulsemedia.com and the WinPulse Media publishing platform (the "Service"). This policy describes what information we collect from users of the Service and how we handle it.
Who this applies to
WinPulse Media is a publishing platform for creators, brands, and media teams. Users create an account and connect their own social media accounts to publish and schedule content to accounts they own and control. This policy covers information relating to those users and their connected accounts.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create a WinPulse Media account we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
- Connected platform data. When you connect one of your social media accounts (for example, a TikTok account) through the platform's official API, we receive basic account information such as the account's display name and avatar, and the OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to publish to that account on your behalf. We store the identifiers of content you publish through us in order to report its delivery and performance status back to you.
- Content you publish. The videos, images, and text you upload through the Service to deliver to your connected accounts.
- Website visitors. winpulsemedia.com does not use advertising cookies. Standard server logs may be retained by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security purposes.
How we use information
We use your account information and connected-account tokens solely to operate the Service for you: to publish and schedule the content you submit to the accounts you have connected, and to read back basic delivery and performance metrics for that content. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information or connected-account data.
- We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
- We do not access any account you have not connected, and we act on your connected accounts only to carry out actions you initiate or schedule.
- We do not share your data with third parties except the platform APIs required to deliver your content, our infrastructure providers acting on our behalf, or as required by law.
YouTube API Services
WinPulse Media uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to, and read basic statistics from, YouTube channels you connect and control. By using these features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
- The data accessed via YouTube API Services is limited to your connected channels: channel identity, videos you upload through the Service, and their processing status. We do not access data about other YouTube users.
- Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- You can revoke WinPulse Media's access to your Google account at any time via Google security settings.
- Stored YouTube authorizations are deleted when you disconnect a channel; we retain no YouTube user data after disconnection.
Storage and security
OAuth tokens and account data are stored on our infrastructure with restricted access permissions, are never committed to source control, and are revocable by you at any time from the connected platform's settings or by disconnecting the account in the Service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your connected-account tokens and data only as long as the connection is active. Disconnecting an account, revoking access from the platform's own settings, or closing your WinPulse Media account removes our access and causes the associated stored tokens to be deleted.
